Si_IV#

Properties of the \(\text{Si\,IV}\;1394\,\AA\) spectral line.

This line is not observed by ESIS. It is the line observed by IRIS which is shifted and scaled onto \(\text{O\,V}\;630\,\AA\) by esis.data.synth.scene_iris() to synthesize a scene.

Average quiet-sun full width at half maximum, measured from the median spectral profile of an IRIS raster.

width_doppler

Average quiet-sun Doppler width computed from fwhm.
